Collaboration with Dr B. M. Ncube for RAW

Rewind to the afternoon I checked my email and saw one from RAW. About a Fashion Show. About an Artist network. It was exactly what I was looking for.

So, La'Khanyi Fashion was invited to present in OVATION an event that connects artists all around the world. The exhibition is on the 25th of October in Boston and will be the first fashion show where La'Khanyi will be showcasing clothing.

The collection is going to be telling a story of tradition, identity and acceptance.

Dr. B. M. Ncube will be working with La'Khanyi on a look that will be sure to showcase her vast experience in the field. She organised several fashion shows over the years, some of which I got to experience as early as the age of 6. The reason I chose to collaborate with her is not because she is my mother, but because my story is told through her.

Wonder what I mean by this? Well that's why you have to come to the show! :)

So now as the date arrives, La'Khanyi and Dr. Ncube will be meeting up with models for fittings and rehearsals... as a matter of fact I've already met a couple already.
